Born somewhere in Japan, moved to Hawaii at the age of 5 years old, returned Japan at 17. After graduating university in Japan, moved around the world, Mexico, Australia, Thailand, Phillipines, Maldives and settled on a small island in Micronesia for 12 years. On the small island, worked with medias around the world as production manager and after returning to Japan 2016, joined the production industry as a producer.

Born and raised in Japan, he had the opportunity to take a short trip to Australia at the age of 15, where he was greatly influenced by the vast landscapes, spacious homes, unique animals, and his dear Australian family.
He later spent his college years in Utah, US, earning a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. With little to do besides studying, he took up weight training and worked out every day, which helped shape who he is today.

His main interest lies in how technology will shape our future, particularly in fields like AI and the Metaverse. He is eager to be part of the pivotal moment when these technologies transform our world. He currently works as a senior producer, dedicated to being the ideal partner for his clients.

Born near the Yangtze River in China, Eara studied in Beijing before diving into the worlds of advertising at Ogilvy, media at CCTV, and music at a startup and artist studio. Fueled by a love for Japanese music, Eara ventured to Japan with a dream of becoming a feature film director. Her message to you: “Let’s collaborate and create something extraordinary together!”

George was born and raised in Italy and moved to Japan at age 15. After college, he spent three years training as an assistant photographer, mastering the art of handling every major cinema camera on the market.

Fluent in Italian, Japanese, and English, George is also a car enthusiast and a dedicated father. Driven by his passion for sharing his unique perspective with the world, he continues to capture life through his lens every day.

OSO, whose name means “bear” in Spanish, is a CED [Chief Executive Dog]  who has been working with Takako and Mateo since the launch of FRAME Tokyo.
He provides a healing presence that supports the hearts and minds of everyone who works hard.
However, be careful not to disturb him when he is sleeping, as he may bite.

Seba
Seba Ishizuka
DP / Gaffer

Born and raised in Tokyo, he studied sociology and political philosophy in Kyoto and La Plata, Argentina, before shifting his focus to cinema. Inspired by 80s-90s French films and Italian director Marco Bellocchio, he returned to Tokyo to attend film school, mastering skills in directing, cinematography, and lighting design (照明技師).

Currently, he works as a DP and Gaffer in Tokyo, handling a variety of projects, including feature films, independent films, music videos, and commercials. While preparing his own feature film, his biggest passion is football, with the highlight of his life being 18/12/2022, the day Messi won the World Cup.

From Ibaraki Prefecture. Since childhood, Shizuka has strongly aspired to Tokyo and moved there under the pretext of studying art. Her majored in painting but gradually shifted her expression to new media arts that including video. While loving her own culture, she wants to learn about other countries and discover what she likes.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, he stayed in Australia to experience the wildness of nature for 2 years of working holiday. After which he studied at the Japanese Art Photography School in 2018 and has been doing video & photography-related work since graduation. Not only does he have a great passion for photography, but also for contemporary art, movies and music. He can speak 4 languages: Japanese, English, Cantonese and Mandarin. He has always loved to be in touch with nature while he is also constantly exploring more possibilities of himself through exposure to different encounters of life.

Suguru Mateo, raised in Spain by his hippie Japanese parents and artistic Spanish grandparents, spent 25 years in Spain before living in New York, Mexico, and now Japan for 12 years.
With a background in graphic design, Suguru’s passion led him to become a skilled camera operator, editor, and director, working on projects for Netflix, Amazon Prime, and HBO. Known for his ever-present smile and calm demeanor, Suguru Mateo lives by the motto: “Be grateful, always learn and grow from any project; panicking doesn’t solve any problem; never blame responsibility on someone else.” His evenings are spent in the company of his beloved dog, Oso, who adds joy to his life.
Suguru Mateo is a dynamic and dedicated professional, driven by gratitude, a commitment to learning, and a strong sense of personal responsibility.
Takako
Takako Okumura
CEO

Takako, a spirited Tokyoite, has a passion for beer, tacos, and the lottery, though she admits she’s not very good at math. She takes a pragmatic view of the world, dismissing ghosts and embracing failures, but avoids emotional movies as she dislikes crying. A quirky cook, she never tastes her own food. Driving helps her relieve stress, sometimes leading to taxi races.

While she dislikes mice, she adores capybaras. In 2019, Takako foundedFRAME Tokyo, a testament to her entrepreneurial spirit. She can listen to the same song on repeat over 20 times, and during her free time, she enjoys cleaning her house. Takako’s dynamic personality and unique habits make her a captivating character.

Born in Slovakia and raised in Italy. Pursued her academic dreams in Venice, Prague, and ultimately Japan.

Fluent in five languages and with filming experience across numerous countries, she operates as a global producer. Despite her composed and professional appearance, don’t be fooled—she’s an adventurer at heart. Always on the lookout for innovative solutions and wholeheartedly supporting the team.

Nagase

Born and raised in Japan, but naturally influenced by her American grandmother who lived in Japan.  Curiosity to the media has started when she was a high school student.  She joined the local TV station (Fukushima Pref.)  as a broadcaster/a journalist and reported everyday’s news. To pursue her professional career, she moved to the United States to study journalism. After returned to Japan and she appeared on Japanese TV programs on TV Asahi, TBS, and NHK as a reporter/a narrator.  Her long business life was like a winding river.  She once gave up on working in the media industry to raise her children, and took a job supporting overseas media at the Tokyo Convention and Visitors  Bureau and the Tokyo Film Commission.  Then she finally returned to the media.  She is very excited to join FRAME and support you!

During her free time, she grows vegetables in the garden and fights weeds.

Born in the Tohoku region of Japan. He liked reading comics and novels. While studying international politics, philosophy, and linguistics at a university in Tokyo, he became interested in film.
He gained experience in various settings as a member of the Direction or the Production Departments, and finally created his own directorial works. Currently working on a new movie.

His latest wishes are for his dog to live a healthy life and for the baobab tree growing bigger than himself.
